Honoring Chico Carrasquel's love for the Barrios and her people and having experienced first hand the unique beauty and rich culture of Venezuela we hope that the people of Venezuela and the United States will embrace Chico Carrasquel's legacy and memory in the work of this foundation and its attempt to grow a better future for the children of Venezuela.

The mission, the very heart of the foundation is to focus its work on and dedication to the kids from the barrios throughout Venezuela with one purpose- that of helping them to grow a better future.

CONTINUING FOUNDATION  PROJECTS  INCLUDE:

• Visits to the barrios by famous Venezuelan Ballplayers.

• Financial assistance provided to secondary needy students affording them an opportunity to pursue a college education

• Toys for the Children "Juguetes para Niños"

• Field Trips for the Children introducing them to the rich history of their own country see pictures
