Chico's sister, Emilia Carrasquel,  has an apartment in La Victoria. She fully supports the Chico Carrasquel Foundationand is always on hand to help out in outings and other projects for the Foundation.

She is also president of another Chico Carrasquel foundation, consisting of family members who organize an annual reunion. Last year, they converged on Tachira to play baseball against a local team in the name of Chico Carrasquel. The visitors are all Carrasquel family members, sons, daughters, cousins, nephews, nieces and grandchildren. Local organizations such as the National Institute of Sport (IND) and mayoralties help out to make the annual event a success. The exchange is not limited to baseball but includes basketball, and even tennis
